Download the “Pre-procedure Claim Assessment Form” and prepare to fill it out by your attending physician/surgeon.

Step 2

Application for the Assessment

Apply online and upload the form at least 7 working days before treatment. Blue Cross will provide an estimate of the amount of compensation based on the information you provide.
You can now apply for Pre-procedure Claim Assessment through BlueCross+. Blue Cross will pre-approve the claimable amount in accordance with your current medical coverage.

Step 3

Obtaining Approval Results

Upon successful approval, Blue Cross will send a “Pre-procedure Claim Assessment Result” to the insured person via email.
You can now apply for Pre-procedure Claim Assessment through BlueCross+. Blue Cross will pre-approve the claimable amount in accordance with your current medical coverage.

Step 4

Completion of Claims with Ease

Estimating the treatment cost in advance allows you to get well preparation for financial arrangement. You can first pay the medical expenses and then submit the claim application for subsequent reimbursement.

FAQs​

How can I register an account in BlueCross+?
Register your account by using your Hong Kong ID card or passport number (user must be aged 18 or above) and a valid Blue Cross policy (including Individual Medical, Group Medical, or General Insurance) number.
Click "Forgot ID / Forgot Password" on BlueCross+ homepage and follow the instructions to retrieve your user ID or reset your password.
You will receive an email notification upon successful registration.
You can use your Hong Kong mobile number as your user ID. Besides, you can also use your email as a user ID.
You can change your login information in the account settings.
After logging in, you can view all your information in "My Profile".
One identity type can only activate one account. For easier management, we recommend to use a single account.
